My hope for you is to remain preserved. Days ago, you were in the Church, during the prayer, free of any precautionary measure to stave off the pandemic from you and from those who are with you. Images of the well-known instructions are emplaced at the entrance of the Church. You did not bother with them. One of the assistant brethren had taken upon himself to bring you a mask. You refused to take it. You told him, with a confident voice, that you do not wear it in Church. Forgive me. The world news is bleak. To this day, this pandemic has not distinguished, in harmfulness, between one place and another, one human being and another. It has stricken us everywhere, old and young, clergy and laity… this is the way it spreads. It uses us. Forgive me again, it does not make peace with those who take its threat lightly. I am telling you, honestly, that I believe in your freedom. However, the freedom that harms the public safety is not freedom anymore! Be always preserved.
