Not One Dead Remains in the Grave

Why did Jesus have to die? It is essential to mention that since Jesus had committed no sin, death had no power over Him. What happened is that He had condescended to His death. This causes His death to be salvific. As to why He had to die, it is because death is the true enemy which had dominated the world since the fall of Adam and Eve. Jesus came, He died, in order to open for us, for all people, the way to their renewal, the way to God Who is Life; He died to eradicate this fear of death, which nothing like it shackles us in bondage (Hebrews 2:15). Is there a greater consolation for us than our embracing this renewal as a life; than our seeing Jesus Who had taken our body; Who died for us, and gave us His Life? Jesus died, so that we can ever shout: “not one dead remains in the grave”!
