Life is Another

A week ago, my grandson James fell ill and the effects of his illness linger on. What happened is that he passed the infection to his pregnant mother and to me too. At home, we got worried. Most of the symptoms resemble the Coronavirus symptoms (that had prevailed over the boy and his parents at the beginning of this year). Both, my doctor whom I had consulted, as well as his, unanimously said that this is another virus. Nevertheless, we remained dominated by worry. Fever. Headache. Weariness. Gastrointestinal disorder... Do I get out of the house or do I remain in it? Life consists of responsibility. I mentioned that the virus, that had prevailed over me, was transmitted to me. Therefore, it can use me, to be transmitted. Are we going to keep living like this? Are people in the world thinking like us or is this an exclusive worry in a country where you are forbidden to get ill?! Lebanon is the country of wonders! However, the whole life has become another.
